Ventures for Children International
Changing the World...One Child at a Time
Our Haiti Program
Click to connect to information on Haiti
The tiny country of Haiti is considered the poorest in the Western Hemisphere. Thousands of Haitians die each year from starvation and disease. Deeply rooted corruption takes money and incentive from the average Haitian, while the widespread practice of Voodoo darkens their hearts.

Abandoned children are the hardest hit by these conditions, because they cannot defend themselves and they are treated as valueless by the culture. Ventures for Children International is making an eternal difference for hundreds of these dear children through carefully directed compassionate aid and by matching
abandoned children with Christian families in the USA who will adopt them and raise them in the love of the Savior.

Haiti is a difficult adoption country because of the inefficiency in a developing country, but for many VCI families, those challenges simply underscore their commitnemt to adopt a child out of the hopelessness of life there. The needs are so great; it is easy to be overwhelmed and discouraged. But God is using His chosen families to change Haitian children’s lives, one at a time, through adoption.

VCI is working with a private orphanage in Haiti which is run by a godly American missionary, who has been serving Christ in Haiti for many years. God has used him to touch thousands of lives and he is committed to helping as many children as possible be adopted into Christian homes in the USA.

He and his staff make sure that each child being placed has received medical tests to assure their good health. There are only three children to each caregiver and there is always adequate food and clean water. Yet, children are turned
away from the orphanage every week as there are so many orphan children and so little room. Adopting one of these little ones not only transforms that child’s life, but it makes room in the Orphan Center for another homeless child.

If you decide to adopt one of these precious children, we will help you every step of the way, as your guide, coach, encourager, and prayerpartner. This will not be an easy path; but you won’t be alone and when your child is back in your home with his new family, it will all be worth it!

We encourage you to prayerfully consider adopting one or more of these little ones. We commit ourselves to partner with you and coach you and encourage you until your child is home with you.
